Les plus grandes r\u00e9serves de minerai de phosphate ultra-pur se trouvent au Maroc. La roche extraite et broy\u00e9e est ensuite mise en r\u00e9action avec de l\u2019acide sulfurique, ce qui pr\u00e9cipite le gypse (phosphogypse) et les impuret\u00e9s. Ensuite a lieu la d\u00e9fluoruration acide, la d\u00e9sarsenification et la purification des m\u00e9taux lourds afin d\u2019obtenir un acide vert de grade alimentaire ou un acide blanc de grade alimentaire extra.&nbsp;Plus rare, l\u2019acide blanc ultra-pur provient d\u2019une roche phosphorique \u00e9l\u00e9mentaire utilis\u00e9e dans les fours \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 arc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019acide et le calcaire r\u00e9agissent ensemble pour produire du MCP, du DCP et (plus rarement) du TCP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La production directe de DCP est \u00e9galement possible sous la forme d\u2019un pr\u00e9cipitat, en attaquant le minerai de phosphate \u00e0 l\u2019acide chlorhydrique (r\u00e9action de substitution). Ce processus de niche utilise par exemple les r\u00e9sidus d\u2019acide chlorhydrique de centrales \u00e9lectrochimiques \/ de fractionnement de l\u2019eau.
