Elle permet de valoriser un produit de valeur tout en r\u00e9duisant significativement la charge DBO\/DCO des effluents rejet\u00e9s.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Normalement, les pommes de terre, les l\u00e9gumes racines ou les tubercules qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pel\u00e9s, tranch\u00e9s ou d\u00e9coup\u00e9s sont rinc\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019eau potable avant de passer \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tape suivante du processus. Des concentrations significatives d\u2019amidon s\u2019accumulent dans les flux d\u2019eaux us\u00e9es de l\u2019usine et se retrouvent dans le syst\u00e8me d\u2019\u00e9puration des eaux us\u00e9es ou sont d\u00e9vers\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gout. La r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration de l\u2019amidon est une op\u00e9ration qui s\u2019av\u00e8re surtout b\u00e9n\u00e9fique lorsqu\u2019elle se d\u00e9roule le plus pr\u00e8s possible de la source, car cela minimise voire supprime totalement la pollution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized is-style-default\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ingetecsa.com\/contenido\/subidas\/2021\/04\/reclaimed-starch.jpg\" alt=\"Reclaimed starch. Comme le (re)traitement du g\u00e2teau d\u2019amidon r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9 s\u2019effectue sans ajout de dioxyde de soufre, les microorganismes qui pullulent dans l\u2019eau s\u2019attaquent imm\u00e9diatement \u00e0 la mati\u00e8re solide. C\u2019est la raison pour laquelle le g\u00e2teau d\u2019amidon humide doit \u00eatre s\u00e9ch\u00e9 presque imm\u00e9diatement. L\u2019air n\u00e9cessaire peut \u00eatre chauff\u00e9 au gaz naturel, au GPL, \u00e0 la vapeur ou avec n\u2019importe quel autre fluide caloporteur.
