Die Dextrintrocknung stellt dabei einen entscheidenden Schritt zur Einstellung definierter Produkteigenschaften dar.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein Dextrin ist eine depolymerisierte <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Starch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">St\u00e4rke<\/a>. Durch Auftrennen der Kettenstruktur der St\u00e4rke \u00e4ndert sich ihre Funktion. Zur Herstellung eines Dextrins ist grunds\u00e4tzlich jede St\u00e4rkequelle geeignet, z.\u00a0B. Mais, Weizen, Tapioka, Kartoffeln, Erbsen etc. Anders als St\u00e4rke k\u00f6nnen Dextrine wei\u00df, gelb oder braun sein. Sie alle sind teilweise oder vollst\u00e4ndig wasserl\u00f6slich. Au\u00dferdem sind sie meist weniger viskos als die St\u00e4rke, aus der sie gewonnen werden. Sie werden chemisch, thermisch oder durch eine Kombination beider Verfahren modifiziert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dextrine haben unterschiedliche Einsatzbereiche. So geh\u00f6rt zweifelsohne die Papierindustrie zu den Hauptanwendern von Dextrinen f\u00fcr Klebstoffe und Beschichtungen. Die verwendeten Mengen sind zwar noch bescheiden, aber die Bandbreite der Anwendungen ist gro\u00df und w\u00e4chst weiter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pyrodextrine<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Pyrodextrine gliedern sich in drei Gruppen: Wei\u00dfdextrine, Gelbdextrine (auch als kanarische Dextrine bezeichnet) und British Gums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>St\u00e4rkedextrine werden durch thermische Behandlung trockener St\u00e4rke hergestellt und werden h\u00e4ufig auch als Pyrodextrine bezeichnet. Die sogenannte Pyrokonversion basiert auf der W\u00e4rmebehandlung von trockener St\u00e4rke, mit oder ohne Zusatz von S\u00e4ure.
