More than 300 Brush-‘n-Belt dry peel removers have been installed since Andritz-Gouda started the development of this machine in 1975. Most of the machines are integrated in industrial steam peeling lines that may comprise a Andritz-Gouda Sepa-Stator steam peeler, a Brush-'n-Belt dry peel remover, a peel waste pump and an after washer. In the steam peeler the product is subjected to an intensive and extremely short steam treatment.
-Removes up to 95% of peel without water
-Reduces peel waste carry over to the after washers
-Peel waste material with high dry matter content
-Reduces steam exposure time and steam consumption
